Because it seems to really need saying...
please consider these simple guidelines when slinging trash in Lj;
1. come to my journal and say your piece in a comment. I can respect that, and I get to deal with it. I may need to delete it or ignore it, but chances are I'll reply and leave it. Although, if it wasn't filtered I may put it Friends Only.
2. say it in your own journal. consider the possible issues with what your saying and filter accordingly. A public post can be considered liable... If you filter it, include me so I can see it... If you hide it yer just a chicken shit.
3. do not - under any circumstances - sling trash in a third party journal. That's dirty pool and worthy of much derision. Don't fool yourself into thinking your being supportive of someone else... only the unimaginative and small minded use complex insults to try and help. I can't respect this ... not even a little. If you pushed poop in my journal about someone else, I'd delete your comment tell you to smarten up.
