a gaggle of geese.

So we (Ed, Geo and daddy - me) dropped off Z at work this morning... ~ 8:30 and then drove in the general direction of home... it was sunny, breezy and not at all humid. Nice! So I "drove through" for Tim Bits (donut holes) and we drove to a nearby water way that has a park and ... Geese. Lots of Canadian geese...

The geese were in two gaggles... When we started walking toward the first gaggle, a lady, her daughter and their leashed dog merged with us on the path and as the boiz and I stopped to see the geese... they (the geese) bolted for the water...

So I'm figuring the geese are gun shy with humans and expect similar reactions from the second gaggle... however, they are further away to start with... so we three crouch down eating our Tim bits and watch geese...

HA!

The problem with the first geese was the dog! This gaggle took one look at three stupid humans... crouching humans, hidden snacks... and became an advancing hoard. ahahhhaha within seconds we were surrounded by screeching geese... Oh it was hilarious... a big scary for the boiz but the geese reacted so cool to the toss of a donut hole (they - of course - would all run for the tossed bit of food) so we cleared a path at the cost of about four donut holes and made our escape through the guano.

The fun never stops... :D
