ok...

So it all kinda worked out with only a minor freak out when I turned the water back on the thing - there is some plumber term for this I'm sure - that fastens with a "gripping" washer to the copper pipe popped off spraying water up in a all-to-television like fashion... apparently I had loosened it when I removed the flexi cord that attached the pipe to the faucet.

The problem started with the faucet becoming loose... all manner of kid involved fixing ensued... fun and watery excitement... All is now dry and working properly, thank you very much...

(phew)



I do not claim for one second to be a perfect little mr. fixit... I can get there but it's always a trial - a struggle between me and murphy's law.
