Happy Mothers Day.
May the reason you celebrate this day
Be a treasured and wonderful part of your life.
A couple of rainy, busy family days.
Today, of course, is all about seeing moms... and taking some time to wish them well. :)
Brunch with one and dinner with the other. :)
Get to wish happy birthday to two just-back-from-Uni nieces... both of whom I met within a day of their first big cry.
I have so much love for those girls... I think it's called proud-uncle syndrome. :)
Yesterday included the gym in the early morning, and joining many many dads at the local shopping zone... all leading youngsters around collecting cards, chocolates and thoughtful little things. :)
We watched Slumdog Millionaire last night.
I enjoyed this movie muchly.
I enjoy Movie Night at Palais Cortitto. :)

A very happy birthday to cynica. May this next year keep you and your family safe and happy... and maybe even let it grow a little.
So many journal friends...
So many years.
For most... the last 9 years have been ... just nine more years of your adult life.
For many, they were the perspective-rocking first so-many years of parenthood
And for a few... a blessedly small but cherished group of friends...
And for them... they were the years that dragged them kicking and screaming from teen years... to somewhere in their mid twenties.
Those have been some of the most treasured chapters in this remarkable living book.
Those are some of the reasons I know that fortune has smiled on my quiet little life. :)
I may have Alzheimer's, but at least I don't have Alzheimer's!

Here come the leaves again...
Growing on the trees like a memory
Filling in the view like a big green ocean.
