Man last week sucked. :(
I was in a snit most of the week and the headaches? frigg'en kill me now.
It's 2: ish now, and they (headaches) have come on around 3 every day for the last four, except for the all-day-sucker at the beginning.
So I feel muy beuno... for now. Fingers crossed.
be it resolved... I will not growl at random people...
Mostly, though... I've resolved to get over the "snit" part.
Work is mostly stupid lately, but it's getting busier and busier... I'm already looking forward to the christmas break.

~ up earlier than everyone (as usual) and read fps and news for a bit...
~ do the wake-everyone thing and soak up some coffee and guitar heroes... frigg'en thing. I'm having trouble with the hammer-on and pull-off deal, but I'm shooting for a score in the 90s (medium) with Black Magic Woman... so at least I have a goal.
~ Suz and I are still struggling to find the ottoman we want... and we're not sure what we want... so it's kinda silly. But we've narrowed to brown leather and storage... and I think we're going to end up with rectangle versus big square... but only due to limitations in supply. I can't imagine buying furniture on-line but I guess I ought to look around.
~ Ed has squash at 6:20, so dinner starts at 4:30... we're having salmon, brown rice and green beans... I think I'll make hollandaise to go with.
~ oh... and Amazatron Race tonight. :)

Why do people live in the fire-zones in Southern Cal?
Or... if they just can't help themselves... aren't half of them the uber-unbelievable-rich types (Oprah?)??? and couldn't they just pool a little money and build a near-science-fiction-level fire suppression system into the hills themselves? Seriously... all the money in the world and you get burned out of your home just as quick as the guy that cuts your lawn. Insurance rates must be insanity....

Ok... I still haven't replaced the fans on my MSI GeForce 6600. Yes that video card is old. It does a fine job. But the little frick'en fan on it (and the one on zebra's computer - which is right beside me...) has started to make a hum. The giant zalman fan, the case fan and the two fans on the power supply? All Dead Silent. The wee fan on the video card? NOISY little bastard. And does anyone carry a replacement fan? No. I've take'en it apart and cleaned it ... thoroughly. I have some "speed cream" (special stuff for skateboard bearings) that I might try to get in the "gizmo" of the fan, but I dunno... I'd hate to replace a video card because of the fan, and the COOL video cooling "systems" out there... cost as much a marginal video card. Gah!... I just need one brand new tiny and quiet 35 mm fan.... well, two actually. :D

I still haven't done christmas lights... (sorry
lakme), but they seriously need doing, before the big snow flies, and it's coming. My right knee is hurting... which means snow will be here soon.~ k... gotta git. :)
