Hola!
:)
Friday.
Not icky outside... so I have to water the grass. :)
Believe me when I say, it's a big deal to water.
Working from home and getting loads done!
On the way home from work yesterday... I stopped in at Home Despot!! to hand over more cash.
I needed something to connect garden hoses together.
Work with me on this... (sigh)
I finally realized, I could only run one sprinkler head at a time without jacking the well pressure,
so I used this "roll up your hose" thing from the garage to by-pass the double sprinkler head system I had set up.
See... I ran a 100' hose to the first sprinkler, then out the other side of that sprinkler to a 50' hose and a second sprinkler.
So far so clear?
Ok, well to run just one head at a time... I had to buypass the "second heads" ... so this meant connecting the hoses to get the sprinkler at 150'.
You're probably at the end of this story already... however, the light was clearly not on in my head yet.
So off I go to HD... to get "hose connectors". I also needed new hoses and more sprinkler heads, etc...
But I wanted to be sure the get the right thing... so I get the orange bib guy in plumbing to ... um...
"show me hose-connectors".
As he shows me the wall of brass connections things...
BINGO.
OMG... what a tool. Um... Hoses... just... screw together.
gah! I'm sure I just flashed red as I stood there. bwaahahahahaha...
Anyways... the magic of serendipity... low and behold... the "display" lawn tractor is just being marked down.
Big mark down.
I start negotiating... and get 'em down by enough more to take the family out to dinner...
And presto... I own a tractor. Well, I will when I go pick it up... must rent a truck to transport. :)
13.5 hp... 42" cutting base. :)

ps. I actually thought Stevie Boy Harper (Canadian Conservative PM) gave a compelling speech at the UN. Warped and war pursuing as it was... still, ... compelling.
