You can see the groovy "kick plate" for the central vac in that picture. An exceptionally cool enhancement to a vac. :D
So we met the Culligan man today... We've talked to a distributor of another brand already... ("Eco System")
and we already know we're in for some big bucks to deal with iron, tannins (sp?), and water hardness.
When we elected to use a "constant pressure pump" on our well, it made necessary a more expensive system for filtering... sigh.
I'm gonna write a separate post to solicit possible info on water issues.
We also spent a bunch of time going very carefully over every element of the kitchen, identifying drawers the don't close as they should, or cupboards with have a slight but problematic "bow"... We're in "picky picky picky" mode now.
The big "official inspection" takes place later this week and it's a big deal. We walk through the house with the owner of the company and we'll be asking him about a few of the things we consider to be "outstanding issues".
All in all... make no mistake... the house is a flipping trip. It's gorgeous.
If we werent't so crazy with everything to do with the move, we'd even be wicked excited about the way the house is turning out. :D
Soon... we take possession on August 8.
tick tick tick!!!
