Tuesdays are non-working days for the runner girl... so I let her sleep in while the boys and I get through our morning routine. It was hard waking up little Geo this morning for some reason... he didn't even wake in the night and come to sneak into our bed... I keep expecting him to "grow out of this" ... but I don't dwell on that... because ... I like that he and Edward sneak into our bed at night. :)
The AC in the house has already given me a head ache... I'm soooooo looking forward to the new house having all clean / clear air ducts and a new NEW NEW Air Conditioner.
It rained like mad last night... thunder and lightening... big fun, big rain... but today dawned brilliant and cool. I mean, seriously... it was a gorgeous start to the day.

Ok this one is weird... but work with me for a sec...
The radio is all about the American soldiers that wiped out 24 civilians last year in Iraq...
They (the soldiers) were hunting for whoever planted the IED that blew up their buddy... and they were "searching" with extreme prejudice... as in... killing women and children.
It was horrible.
Terrible... but... but... I don't understand why it's an issue.
It's like that joke where the guy meets a woman at a cocktail party and after talking for a minute says...
"So ... would you kiss a man you didn't know for a million dollars?
Or have sex with him for ten million dollars?"
She says yes, so he goes on to ask "how about a blow job for fifty?"
... to which she says "Ack!!! you pig... what kind of woman do you think I am?".
His reply? "We've already determined what kind of woman you are... now were just negotiating..."
How is it any better to drop a bomb on a hospital and kill a thousand civilians... or blow up a hard target like a military truck but you happen to blow up the Renault beside it too... killing civilians... or bombing the living crap out of Baghdad and killing thousands and thousands of civilians.
The military has already said it's ok to kill civilians... they do it all the time. Now a few soldiers pop a few civilians and they're "murderers".
I get it... I think what they did was wrong... but "we've already determined what kind of woman you are..."
What the soldiers did was wrong... as is the dropping of bombs on cities...
The military... GOOD GUY military, has a long history of this... from 134,000 non military dead in Dresden, to the burning villages in Vietnam.
Now all of a sudden they're going to try a few soldiers as murderers?
No problem... just... why don't they try the generals, and Bush for that matter, first.

My best friend in the whole world.. is coping with some hard news in his family today.
Cancer... the inoperable sort... is going to take his mom and having lost his dad a few years ago to an accident...
Well, this is just a really hard time... for my friend, his wife and their lovely little boys.
I just wanted to take a moment here to say how much I wish we could all share one another's burdens...
Life is an illusion created by our spirits so that we can love one another, love our gods and do nice things for one another...
When the illusion breaks down... we can rest assured that the spirit lives on.
And if any strength can be found in this, let it be that we need never stop loving one another.

I have a MAC question.
~ a mac and a pc are sharing a home network and internet connection thanks to uncle linksys... but the linksys doesn't have a printer port on it... so if you add the printer to either the mac or the pc, can the other device see it as a shared resource? If yes... is this a hard set up? Is it better to hook it to the pc and get the mac to find the share or vise versa?
(Like you do when it's just a couple of pc's... like I do at home... each pc has a printer and both pc's can print to either printer).
Ok... I have to go. :)
have a great day...
