Total Battlestar Gallactica Post...

Ultimately it's all about asking a question or two, but there be spoilers here, so it's under a cut. :)



Ok... here in the frozen north (Canada), we are on season two... the season that begins after Boomer shoots the commander.

The most recent episode was the one with the chief making a quasi-viper out of spare parts... and Boomer had to shove the optical cable up her slit wrist.

here's the thing...
... why would the frigging cylon fleet be trying to blow the Galactica if they know perfectly well that Lt. Volarie is onboard with the savior baby in her cylon tummy? We know "they" know because of the Xena episode (the reporter doing the story about Galactica who turns out to be a Cylon!!!).

So why would they want to destroy the glactica????

The vice president... Giese (or however you spell his fricking name)... is an idiot ... I know they are using his character carefully to reveal plot elements. But ... how can she be in his head? I think he's a Cylon... just a deep cover Cylon and he has no concept of this???

Lt. Volarie... Boomer... you know... as much as they work on our emotional context with the liking her stuff... She seems to have given away a very sinister side. Like when she was brawling with Adama on the surface of Cobol (Kobol?) and right when they pulled them apart... I'm certain she gasped (with an angry face) "and you wondered WHY?"... harkening back to his crying jag over her DEAD cyclon body where he was yelling Why? Why? Why?...

I mean... in every instance where the plot floats around the Boomer issue... I get a sense that she is totally playing them.

My opinions...
The Cylon goal is not total destruction of the human race... but rather to pair it down, take over and institute a changed religion concept. And I'm noting just how close the theoretical Cyclon religion is the the classic white-man-religion earth. ... hmmm...
