I was so flipping exhausted by the time I got pillow time... it made waking up ... almost impossible. We woke up a bit late, and so it turned into a "drive the boys to school" day.
As I drive... first to their school... then the gas station... and then to work... I have the wipers on high, and an ocean of water is running down the back window while the world around me becomes misted with vast torrents of pounding rain... And the radio tells me "we're having some light rain in Ottawa..." WTF, bitch, stick your head out the window for a second... sheesh!
As I approached the parking lot ... I hit a pot hole and totally splashed this woman walking on the sidewalk... she saw it coming... turned her umbrella down and "reared back" like a cornered cat... and S*P*L*A*S*H. Oh god... I felt horrible. I totally didn't mean to do it... but jockeying around the road to avoid one pot hole in favour of the next must have appeared to her as me lining up to nail her. hahaha... I mean, I have to laugh at the memory but still... I felt really bad. :*( I know I'd have been all pissed off if it had been me. sigh. Oh well... it could have been worse... I could have flung open the passenger door to nail her with that... which would have been horrible... :D

~ relax tonight... We (family) are heading into the (*emphasis on "the") most stress packed part of this whole house deal ... the initial stages of trying to sell ours... EVERYTHING rests on selling this house... ahhhhhhhh!)

Ok... here's the thing... The entire muslim world is up in arms, boycotting european goods, breaking into consular buildings with riffles, kidnapping and ransacking... because some obscure newspaper printed some insulting images political cartoons of "the prophet".
Lets see... I've got "methinks thou protests too much" but that just doesn't really do justice to the circumstances.

Every second anyone spends trying to make nice nice with the muslim world over this issue is a second dedicated to validating their outrageous and exceptionally pathetic behavior. It's a fricking political cartoon. Grow the hell up. Here we are in a world gone mad trying to moderate the number of EXPLOSIONS THAT DESTROY BUILDINGS, LIVES, AND COMMUNITIES... hysterical madness among zealots and fear that grips entire nations... and the response in one society includes a few insulting cartoons. Excuse me if I think for a minute that the "muslim world" reaction to this is a clear demonstration of the see-through skin these people must be wearing.

They flipped out when the international community stated that financial aid should be tied to a non-violence posture from Hamas. The international community POURS UNCOUNTED MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF AID DOLLARS OVER THEM ANNUALLY and now they feel sooooo entitled???? Holy crap.
