What a beautiful day!!!!
Sunshine... fresh snow... rather wind-swept but still... everything is fresh and white.
Canada is on the final run-up to the Election on January 23rd. Every media source out there is loading up on sound bites, interviews and opinion pieces.
It gets old.
Last night was not about tv. :)
I was in a total Captain Of Industry mode... boxing up a huge book shelf that has to be moved before we start showing the house... and I removed the 1/4 round (trim) around the kitchen island ... revealing... 10 years worth of ICK!!!!! So I got into a cleaning jag with that ... ending with a fresh coat of floor polish on that zone and tonight I'll be doing the miter box stuff to put the new trim on. :)

I've decided... actually we've decided... we're voting for the Green party. I'm not totally "big" on the green party platform but their environmental proposals are all worth listening to by the other parties. I suspect that there will be far more votes for the green and ndp than either is expecting. That Harper guy is one scary Bush-ite, and well... the liberals suffer their own misfortune. It's kind of like a protest vote.
The first thing Harper has said he will have a conservative government do is hold a free vote on the same sex marriage legislation. Let me translate: a bunch of representatives are going to decide by a show of hands whether or not the charter of rights and freedoms applies to a minority group. Nice. What's next?

"Never" takes too long to prove.
"Today" runs out before you make your point.
But "tomorrow"... will always be filled with promise.
May yours be wonderful.
time to go. :)
Peace out yo. <--- skater boy time. :)
