holy flipp'en snap...
... those puff pastry things were phenomenal.
So ... grocery store "butter puff pastry" in the freezer section.
Let it thaw... It's a 10x10 sheet.
I cut it in half... 10x5 and spread out on it...
~ 10 chopped, uncooked, shelled, large shrimp
~ 1 shredded carrot
~ 1 shredded onion
~ dash of rice vinegar
~ dash of chili pepper
~ dash of oyster sauce
~ dash of light soya.
(mix mix mix)
Moisten and fold the edges up and pinch 'em closed to make a big ol log.
cut 1x3 inch strips of the pastry from the unused part.
Lay those on the parchment paper.
Cut up the "log" into 1 - 2 inch cross-sections.
Put them on the strips and fold up the edges.
Cook at 425 for 20 mins...
