~ So we went from a very standard - and, as it turns out, the cheapest - faucet in the powder room to this...
... and simple though it may be... every possible thing that can go wrong... managed to find it's way there.
Of course, when the water is turned off and your under a sink with your arms and face perched above recently severed copper pipe... and someone flushes a toilet or turns on the outside hose... KSPLASH... is kinda the word that fits.
But it's done. Thank the gods for flexi pipe...
~ Geo, with his helper-brother, painted the paper mache "terrain" for the castle... layer one... green.

Geo and I have worked out a good plan for the keep and wall.
The objective is to be "correct" for a specific time period, so we did some googling and have ourselves all sorted. :D
(We have another two weeks to work on it... so it's all good!)
~ Ed's first soccer game of the season was tonight... and he was more into it than in any game last year. He's so cute the way he motors around the field. He's still trying to get the hang of really running-full-tilt... little people tend - in many cases - to adopt a halting approach to "dashing" that lets them continue to play with whatever happens to be in their hands while they run... even if it's only fingers. Good, friendly coach... :D
~ next job jar biggie is replacing the "came with the house" ceiling light in the kitchen with a decorative, boxed, horseshoe shaped florescent tube thing... We've been eyeballing it at Home Despot for ages... and now we have it in our garage. The included note that reads "no mounting hardware included" was a bit of a let down... so that's for next weekend.
