Rain rain rain... big fat smushy snow... rain rain rain...
Man... when they say "significant rain fall" they aren't kidding!
and it's stopped now, btw... but yesterday and last night were ... wet.
So we all stayed inside, all day... except my brief and wet foray to the grocery store.
It seems like we're all healthy ... (which may be a horrible jinx) except for my squishy eye... it just seems to be watering a lot... but there's nothing wrong with it)
We spent the night ... and I mean till 2:30 in the morning, which became 3:30 (*sigh*), cleaning up the back area in the basement. Going through old boxes and sorting things... HUGE recycle pile and two massive piles of garbage later, we have achieved... a dent. So there will be more of that on tap.
BSG was fantastic last night... gah!!! I like every single thing about that show and I totally love that Katie girl... when she and he trade full on face punches... hahaha.

There has been a papal death.
The Pontiff has passed.
We're popeless...
How do news people keep a straight face when they say this stuff on tv?
I watched most of the A&E bio on him last night. He was quite a man... he lived a difficult and giving life... but that doesn't change the fact that his papacy leaves a legacy of intolerance, discrimination and a strange and sad revitalization of disconnected values in the western world.
May catholicism find itself a less conservative pope... possibly one that actually had female role models in his life.
And don't criticise me for having an opinion... as much as he may have felt it was too common for him, the pope was (will again be) a significant force in the geo-political landscape and that makes him a politician... and one that affects my life, despite my opposition to the church.
The pope is dead... long live the pope.
Ok... time to hit the showers. :)
See ya.
