fedora problem solved...
and, as I sneakily suspected,
the problem was completely
due to my bad mental wiring.
I burned ISO's of the ISO's.
If you understand that,
then you're having a quick
snort of a laugh at me.
And believe me...
I deserve it. :D

Tonight I'll get to take another stab at the whole install thing, on the test server - of course. :D
