patience...
the word sneaks out with an exhale.

to soon, we turn in haste...
confidence poorly constructed with emotions.

emotions are wonderful...
they make us real and they make us feel.

emotions are dangerous...
they replace thinking with reacting.

if it took you a year to build a relationship...
why would it make sense to tear it down over night?

it takes all summer to make a perfect apple...
eat it slowly, and savour each bite.
