A busy morning in the house of us...
Oh, and it's freaking phenomenally beautiful outside... cool, hard core sunshine... lovely... no really.
Everybody was up early to get both boys to school with Z for 8:45. (Edward normally only goes half days in the afternoon). Z is doing a fund raiser "walk-a-thon" thing with the kids at the school this morning and then helping with a "end of year" celebration in Edwards class... :D
So the picture time was a dance of little kiddlettes making faces...
Note: a highlight of my morning... woke up absolutely grogged... wanting nothing but pillow... however, my job was breakfast for the boys... so I dressed Ed and we trooped downstairs. Cereal and fruit and milk and then they snapped on the tube for a bit while I went back up stairs. I was waiting for Z to finish up a stage of her morning bathroom ritual... I spied a large square of sunlight, centred on our bed. I crawled over the bed to it... It was warm... Even the air that carried the sunlight from the window to the bed was warmer than the air around it... I curled into a ball on the warm spot and drew out my childhood memories of our first cat sleeping in sun beams all over the house... It was nice. :D

The issues, according to the those that spin the spin making machinery, are;
~ National Health Care (like it or not, it's a two tier system today and that's not going to change... )
~ Day Care and the costs, (I'm a parent... I'd rather get a tax break for dependants than get subsidized day care any freaking day of the week baby!!)
~ gay rights, (get the fuck off the pot you ass holes... this is a non issue... we all deserve to be treated the same under the civil and tax legislation... and you politicians can shut up and let the rest of us tell the intolerant churchs to stuff it in their robes by grinning at empty collection plates.)
~ a womans right to choose, (totally fake issue... created by the media messing with a sound bite... none of these candidates or their parties want to make abortions illegal ... or face the lynching they'd get if they even made real noises about letting that happen.)
~ military spending, (... as we peek out from the edges of the American Colossus... yeah right... )
~ and, apparently, what ties these dip wacks choose to wear.
I give big marks and a little friendly hair mussing to the leader of the Conservative Party (Steven Harper) for his response to the leader of the Bloc Quebecois when Bloc Boy gave him hell about Official Bilingualism issues in the rest of Canada. "Well that's rich... coming from you... the man who wants to take Quebec, the center of French Culture, OUT OF THE COUNTRY.!! What have you done for the rights of Angliphones (english speaking minority in Quebec) in your province?" hahahaha...
Martin laid no claim to any credibility with his waving arms, sputtering, and pathetic avoidance of taking responsibility for his own government.
Layton is actually an animatronic puppet made in Disney Land... and he said all the things he's supposed to when you pull his strings... however, every time he stepped up... he seemed to deliver credibility to Harper...
Duceppe... oh shut the fuck up you ass wipe...
Harper... the next prime minister of canada... was calm and collected with his Ken Doll hair... while he collected up all the credibility floating around during the debate.
