Well it's 33 degrees at home... and I'm shivering in my ski jacket here in lovely Regina.
Enough with the cold, wet, and crummy weather following me around the country, thankyouverymuch.
Sheesh.

I get to go home tomorrow.
:)

Birthday moments...
A very happy birthday wish out to jloopy... May this day bring you many moments of happiness and for the year ahead to keep you safe and loved.
And to a distant but always wonderful, morganofthefay... Happy birthday sugar... and may you find and endless supply of wonder as this year sneaks past.

Television news dude goes to town on the Rosie versus Blonde chick battle ...
so I pay attention and ... kinda enjoy the spectacle of the brawl.
then ... I start to consider the frame of the story and, honestly, I'm just agog.
If I've said it once... I've said it a million times;
There's nothing remotely "anti troops" about criticizing a war.
War is a political game played by self important yahoo's that got lost on the map of humanity making left turns every time they told themselves "The ends justify the means."
Soldiers are ... our brothers, sisters, parents and children.
Of course we support them.
Pointing out the pathetic and stupid futility of a war is not a comment on the troops.
There are two sides... often more... in a war.
It is the epitome of arrogance to actually think the people on the "other side" think they're the enemy.
I mean... are you f'ing kidding me?

I'm homesick.
