hedonism / house fantasy LEVEL 6
-->sub dermal transmitter active<--

After finishing the main part of the basement in the early fall,
I set about work on the theater room.
[ :: something along the lines of this :: ] would be nice.
70 inches of lcd from jvc in all the juiciest hd-tv positions you can imagine... or is it "I can imagine."?
Either way... if you start saving your nickles now... you can buy it for me. mmmk?
I was comparing it to the whole "project from a little box attached to the ceiling and get a 100 screen" thing, and ... when you add it all up (bulb replacements, device, and the "special screen" you project on), owning one of those projectors is more expensive than owning one of those 70 inch hotties. Crazy nice picture. Would look nice in a dark 20 x 14 room with all the fixens...

~ day dreams.. er... evening dreams...

Thursday, January 19

What a beautiful day!!!!
Sunshine... fresh snow... rather wind-swept but still... everything is fresh and white.

Canada is on the final run-up to the Election on January 23rd. Every media source out there is loading up on sound bites, interviews and opinion pieces.
It gets old.

Last night was not about tv. :)
I was in a total Captain Of Industry mode... boxing up a huge book shelf that has to be moved before we start showing the house... and I removed the 1/4 round (trim) around the kitchen island ... revealing... 10 years worth of ICK!!!!! So I got into a cleaning jag with that ... ending with a fresh coat of floor polish on that zone and tonight I'll be doing the miter box stuff to put the new trim on. :)

~ blue ftls
~ khaki cargos...
~ black turtleneck
~ beige sweater. (and now I'm rather over warm ... freaking weather versus heating systems)
~ work, work work... freaking cars on the highway today were retarded...
~ lunch for coworker that leaves tomorrow for a new gig. :)
~ drafting a report all afternoon.
~ watched nadda last night... so maybe LOST. :)
~ I knew when Desperate House Hoes started up again!! I checked the one I taped last sunday and I have clearly missed one! :)
~ that kimberly27616 finds her way to comfort in her new digs...
~ for peace and calm to return to the world of macdatty
~ that the willpower gods smile on kimmellee
~ and to do the "smile and wave" thing for kay... and welcome to team time bomb!

Birthday moment...
happy birthday damny! I hope the year ahead brings your great prospects... good fortune... wonderful health... and lots and lots of love. :)

I've decided... actually we've decided... we're voting for the Green party. I'm not totally "big" on the green party platform but their environmental proposals are all worth listening to by the other parties. I suspect that there will be far more votes for the green and ndp than either is expecting. That Harper guy is one scary Bush-ite, and well... the liberals suffer their own misfortune. It's kind of like a protest vote.

The first thing Harper has said he will have a conservative government do is hold a free vote on the same sex marriage legislation. Let me translate: a bunch of representatives are going to decide by a show of hands whether or not the charter of rights and freedoms applies to a minority group. Nice. What's next?

"Never" takes too long to prove.
"Today" runs out before you make your point.
But "tomorrow"... will always be filled with promise.
May yours be wonderful.

time to go. :)
Peace out yo. <--- skater boy time. :)
