K... you cannot believe what kind of a day yesterday was.
But first... picture... I got an anon comment say'en I smile too much... and that it's a freaky smile...
So to celebrate the voice of anonymous bugs that don't use their names... (218.186.35.22, via 202.156.2.130)...
A week of no smiling... and lemmi tell ya... it's gonna be hard.

wearing
~ blue ftls
~ blue jeans
~ old txt shirt with a big ol'orange stripe across the front
planning
~ geez...
~ ok, in a few it's off to the TKD Belt Testing event... Suz and Geo are going for their Orange and there is much practicing and talk'en in Korean going on around here...
wishing
~ yesterday would just go away...
~ I've no time yet to read my friends pages... so let me just say I do hope that when I can read... I find that things have been good for my friends...

Yesterday... you know... a saturday, some sunshine... a breeze... open the doors and let it all blow through...
Kids with water balloons playing out back... some great clean up stuff going on early in the day... to make room for a nice afternoon.
... and while I'm at Home Despot handing over more money... for some landscaping "mesh" my cell rings...
Suzy and the boys were attacking the basement, on the cleaning thing...
... and discovered water.
The pipe that feeds an outdoor tap has been drip drip dripping into the wall... inside the insulation... and spilled out LARGE on the floor.
[ :: the kids computer area in the basement :: ]

I found the leak... and I can fix that... but the whole freaking wall has to come out to get the soaking wet insulation out...
Major fucking pain in the ass... l

However... it's 10:36 and we have to get going... so I'll see you later. :D
Time to get some orange action for my Geo and the girl in my life.

BHSM

ok...

They both passed...
... Big Happy Smiley Moment

~ today has been all about having a killer headache... I swear I could gouge out my eyes to massage my aching brain...

Oh, and Edward... normally the one sleep in longer than anyone... was up at the butt crack of dawn... because we had agreed to make cup cakes today... So out of bed... into PJ pants and ... The Fabulous Baking Boys took to the kitchen... (with some advil).

headache... pounding... must lie down.

:)

to celebrate "belt day"'s great success... we went out-to-dinner. :D
I attended thanks, in the main, to a great deal of medication.

It's (the head boomer) not a migraine...
would that it were...
then I would need only ram an imitrix injector up my nose and be done with it.

No, I'm afriad this is something altogether different and spurred on by the tooth issue.
The teeth that were changed are understandably sensitive,
but one tooth...
when anything presses "up" into the tooth...
against the filling...
more than a little bit...
that is to say, pressed a bit hard...
... it's like an electric jolt of white hot searing arc welder style pain flys from the tooth to the top of my head.
I'm afraid to chew for fear of doing it.
Last time I "nailed" it, was yesterday afternoon, but in general, that whole side of my face aches.
I've never had a root canal... but that seems like what may be needed.
Daddy, the retired orthodontist, had a look...
So... bottom line...
headache is, I think, part of a cause and effect relationship here.

Any ways... today was a wash.
I woke up with the headache and baked cup-cakes and a cake with Ed,
then we all did the belt thing...
When I got home from that I had enough of me left to do that picture post of the two new Orange Belts and then...
the day has been a battle to find rest.
Meds and hot packs...
sleep and cold packs...
and a general crankyness to go with...
...fun eh.

Now I'm all burnt out and it's time to start the kids on the road to bed.
They're playing ball hockey on the street with neighbor kids as I type.

Baths, snacks, stories and then lights out...
AND BTW... "lights out, stay in bed" has been working like a freaking charm since out event last week...

k... see ya soon.
(smiles behind hand).
