Ok... I really need to break the cycle... bed at 2:20 and up at 6:50 didn't quite work but...

Especially when shoveling the evil white stuff is on the morning menu.

I mean christmas has come and gone and I'm thinking maybe there's a few new digital cameras out there so getting a lip pic can't be too hard... can it? :D There's some classics in there but the goal is more for "all sorts" ... not just pouty killa reds... I only have, like three guys lips in there... (oh, emails are fine too if ya don't have a host for the image file...) Tell yer friends... you know people I'll never know...

mmk... I gotta get myself busy...
If I haven't told you how much joy you bring into my world... I'm telling you now.
Loving you guys is the easiest thing in the world.

floor talk'en.

I was just lying on the floor of the boys room with Ed, in the dark, on our tummies.
He was under a little blanket (it was, by chance, the blankee he was most often wrapped in as a baby).

I was administering a "we caved in" snack (buttered slice of whole wheat bread - snack glory for these guys) hoping to get his wakeful little self to go to sleep.
He's still coming back from being all turned around over the holidays for sleep.

Ed: "daddy? where were my feet when I was a baby?"
me: "huh?"
Ed: "how big was my body... where were my feet?" (lifts leg and looks over his shoulder at it)
me: "points to his upper leg to show that his feet were there"
Ed: "daaad? when I eat my body gets bigger... really slow... right?"
me: "yes... you're growing all the time."
Ed: "will get as big as you?"
me: "oh yes... I bet you'll be bigger... you will definitely be at least as tall as me one day."
Ed: "three daddies!"
me: "... mmmm?"
Ed: "there will be three daddies."
me: "k."
Ed: "... you're big. one daddy. I'll grow big... two daddies. George will grow big... three daddies. and one mommy."

:D

You know... no matter what else might be true,
we're all little boys and girls inside, somewhere.
