hiya...

Back from swimming...

... and he got his report card... He's very proud. We got Tim-Bits to celebrate.

So, I'm a busy beaver today...
um... Ed's doing really well today... no temperature and only some coughing...
and Z, is seriously sick and in bed... not a really happy camper when she's under the weather...

Got home and had a shower, cleaned the bathroom... no really cleaned the bathroom... we're talking scrubbing baseboards here... cleaned up kitchen, unpacked, packed dishwasher, got some laundry in. Now it's folding clothes time... feed kids lunch, and make the grocery list. Then off to get groceries and maybe go to IKEA to get another Narvik toy/hope chest. Nothing like a little Swedish chest... :D

I may - only may - go and buy something off my birthday wishlist... the Hardcore Geek parts... we'll see how everyones doing.

k, I gotta fly... peace out y'all... (<-- I really oughtta stop say'en "y'all" huh...)

LJ Birthday Baby...

Happy Birthday Amanda

It's wittleangel's birthday... a relatively new friend in the time-compression land of Live-J...

She's a super-hero, oops.. I mean a mom... has two little girls (Faith and Hailey) and enjoys pissing off old people... :D I have this image of Dr. Johnny Fever (WKRP In Cincinatti) saying "If killed old people before, and I'm not afraid to do it again."

Happy birthday Amanda... I hope this next year brings you all the joys that mommy-hood can squeeze out of life and that you get to avoid as many of the pitfalls as possible...

Peace out tiny-angel...

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Amanda, Happy Birthday to you...

well...

So much for "outragious"... this is going to be a pretty mundane weekend.

After a monster run to the grocery store... we took off (all three of us... Z still in bed) to IKEA... The Narvik was sold out.. no rain checks.. .("while quantities last...")

We hit the video store and scored a copy of Spy Kids (dvd - "previously viewed") to keep and rented "The Glass House". Oh and rented a Scooby Doo movie... man the kids both love scoobs... I still have this series of Scooby Doo mysteries (books) that a certain blonde godess in Burbank sent us... and we read and reread these often...

Any ways... home to play with kids... and make a dinner... and shuffle laundry... and take on the whole bedtire ritual...

Z just climbed out of her death bed a few mins ago to shower... I fed her the proverbial mug of chicken noodle soup... I've been loading up the bedside table with Green tea and whatever else I can think of ... but basically she's sick as hell...

So.... a movie is in my near future...

ps. small hopes living in my heart that all is well and there are no surprises for David (froid re: stephy_banana's main squeeze...
