It's a bit of a gray day... but still... not cold is good. Little kids with helmets keep zooming past our house on all manner of wheeled toys...
Yesterday was b-b-b-b-busy!
It started with swimming lessons at 10:30, then zoom across town with Ed and Geo to a birthday party at a place called Cyberdome (www.cyberdome.ca) for 11:30... and seeing as swim lessons end at 11:30... we were late. The birthday party... pizza and cake enabled, ended at 2:00 but ... again with the all the way across town prefix, I had to get them to another birthday for 2:00... again, late. This time at a bowling ally. Holy musha... that place was a zoo. A bazillion b-day parties and enough kids to swamp disney. We got home at 4:30 and before I knew it... we were all back in the car to go to my bro's house for my nieces birthday party. A big family affair and it carried us till about 8:30.
Then the big dip in the night was my thinking that "well, at least the kids will be tired... " Bah!
It took forever to get them down last night... but when they were... we embraced our 24 addiction with gusto.
Jack died last night... but seeing as he's in season three... I'm guessing it's one of those "mostly dead" kinda things.

catherine had a lovely time in Florida... and I - of course - expect pictures! Yesterday... Geo faced one of his demons again by tackling the "advanced wall" at the cyberdome thing... I posted a long time ago about how he attacked the climbing wall deal with great courage for his little self... but this one was that ... and then some.
After watching a long string of kids try and not-quite-make-it... he harnessed up and proved he was learning from their mistakes..

any ways... today will be about recovering from yesterday... and figuring out where I'm going to get a truck from.
We bought dining room furniture!!!
Suz has been searching for the set she wants for over a year... and finally found it.
Now, however, there is a rush to pick it up from the guy we're buying it from... and dude... I need a truck!
