Take out big honking whack of papers for this "bid" thing we're working on...
Pick up a stack of notes from my desk...
Go to board room... and spend the next six and a half hours... going over that bid ... page by page...
And it's not even a bright board room... it's one of those 'ambiance lighting' rooms with art and soft features and big honking classy table...
I was terrified that I'd fall asleep and start snoring... so I kept getting up and walking around the room.
Loads of coffee... loads of talking... and way WAY too much thinking...
Note: feeling deeply introspective ... must try to explore that...
