K... Not feeling at the top of my game ... you might say.
I suspect that rest is going to help.
Survivor comes first though. :D That tape is waiting.

As Geo goes to bed, we embark upon a bit of a process...
Tonight’s went poorly.

I prop onto his bed and he props up.
We go through two pages of times tables
Then he reads out loud from his book (and "a-z mystery") for 10 minutes.
Then I read to him... we are at the climactic moments of the 7th of 7 narnia books.
I'll read for 10 - 20 minutes.

He decided he didn't want to do the 2 and 3 times tables.
He's done them before so now he's ...er... to good for 'em.
I ask again...
"I'm not and you can't make me."
"ok... here's your book... lets listen to you read."
He's diggin that story so he puts away a chapter out loud...and then snuggles in for Narnia.
I struggle my ancient self out of his bed and go for the light switch...
"Hey... aren't you going to read Narnia?"
"I'm not and you can't make me."
"... and we'll see how things go tomorrow night."
~ sheesh was he pissed.

Then I had a bit of a lie down in my bed... damn gut is just being a pain.

However... I'm waking back up a bit... time to make a little fresh coffee and sort out the Survivor tape.
