... 8-)

My dad celebrated putting another year under his belt. :D
We had the family over to out house... there was much cooking
cleaning, and fussing... and, of course, completely worth every
moment of effort. :D

Before we eat...

and, after...

The roast was outstanding... really tender and fed a lot of people. :)

That's a cross rib roast, fresh, not frozen, in the oven at 300 for 3 hours... wrapped in foil with a package of lipton's onion soup mix poured over it and a can of cream of mushroom soup... just pour it on, wrap it up and cook ... oh, and after a couple of hours of cook time, open it up and put in cut-up onions, carrots and potatoes... yum! - and don't forget to make gravy from the puddle of goo the thing is cooking in when it's done. Lift out the meet and pour all the goo into a sauce pan... heat it, whisking like mad... add 1/2 cup of water and a teaspoon of flour... whisk till you start to feel self concious of your ass going back and forth... Exceptionally yum!

alrighti... the boys are a'bed...
all bathed and storied...
and it's just ... about... time...
for the Alias tape!!!

(excited)

See you...
