So I'm thinking I need a hair cut.
You know... I had a good moment last night... when we were at the family get together thing. I'm getting lots of "go you" support from friends and family re the smoke-ending thing... and that is a big part of staying motivated, but last night... sometime before dinner started, my 18 year old niece...the one that I've known "as long as I've known Z" (she was a 1 year old baby when I started dating Z) jumped in with her exclamation of surprise when she noted that I was a week in the quitting smoking hole. The look on her face was an seriously honest expression of happiness and she gave me a really big smile. Now, I purposely tend to drive her nutz... 'cause it's fun to drive my neices nuts... and getting that kind of smile from her really felt good. My resolve, while not yet tested, is certainly bolstered. And dig that... I got to use "bolstered" in a sentance. :D
