Happy Canada Day

The story told in the movie "Gossford Park" was quite excellent!! A little slow on the pace but I loved all the characters. And as for a "who done it" movie... I enjoyed working it out before it was revealed! :)

I managed a glorious sleep-in this morning, thanks to an industrious babyfatz and when I did wake up? Kinda woke up with a bang... (wink wink nudge nudge... say no'more... say no'more) :)

~ shorts... That's it... it's hot even with the AC cooking... our AC around the house is poorly distributed. The front hall bathroom is like an icebox!

~ nourishment... my knees are still wobbly from that wake up experience.
~ putting together new twin, matching beds for the boys... replacing a toddlers bed (Ed) and a mattress-on-the-floor that Geo has been sleeping on... They will be well pleased!
~ BBQ ribs for dinner? oh yea...
~ Z is helping her sis at a booth at the local community Canada Day celebration this evening, so it'll be play time with the boys in anticipation of a fireworks evening! (I love fireworks)

~ my buddy topazgrrl finds some cool air somewhere... imagine being home with a newborn in 90+ temperatures and trying to cope with all the emotions and hard work of recovery and caring for a wee bit a boy.

Oh and in the picture? That's Geo holding this little battery operated BAT... :) the breeze from the wings feels grand.
